COVID-19 PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES

Training sessions will be 50-minutes long, leaving with 5 minutes pre-training safety protocol and 5 minutes post-training sanitizing. Virtual Training One-on-Ones will be offered to clients that are not comfortable coming into the studio.

We hope our policies and procedures surrounding Covid-19 puts your mind at ease that we are doing everything on our end to provide the safest, healthiest training environment for you, our client.

If you have any feedback or suggestions, you know where to find us.

Train safe — Stay Healthy,

Mark & Jacq

Taking of temperatures, health questionnaires, etc. for clients and coaches:

  • Plan to take your temperature daily before coming to the studio.  Doing so will potentially save you a round trip.

  • Do not come to the studio if you are feeling ill or have a fever of 100.4 or above.

  • Clients — we will have you wait in your car until a staff member can come and get you where your temperature will be taken, and if you weren’t screened via telephone, you would complete a short Travel and Viral questionnaire.

  • Coaches will also be required to take a temperature reading before coming to work as well as monitor it throughout the day.

Protect yourself and others with sanitation and safe practices:

  • Complete sanitation of the studio will take place before each day opening.

  • Hand washing in the studio will be required for both coach and client before training will begin. We recommend washing up after your workout as well.

  • Coaches will clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces after each client. This includes benches, bars, dumbells, door handles, restrooms, common areas, etc.

  • Plan on no towel service until further notice. If you require a towel, please bring a clean one from your home and take it with you to launder when you go.

  • We recommend bringing your own mat if your training includes floor work. If you do not have a mat, we suggest bringing a large towel to lay on top of a studio mat.

  • ASAP will be providing both hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes for client use in designated spots around the studio.

Wearing masks, gloves, and face shield:

  • We are asking our coaches to wear a mask and disposable gloves* (as we able to source them) while training a client

  • Clients are not mandated to wear a mask or disposable gloves but may do so per their comfort level.

  • If clients prefer to wear a mask during training, we recommend cloth masks that are machine washable. A homemade mask is great, check online for articles and videos on how to make a cloth mask that is machine washable.

  • Plan to wash your mask daily, if applicable.

  • Plan to dispose of gloves after each workout, if applicable.

  • Face shields are also a possible option if desired

  • Host only 1 client per coach at a time, leaving time to clean in between each client.

  • Prospective clients may be seen by appointment only, no walk-ins. Temperature and Travel and Viral questionnaire will also be given before appointment time.

  • Advise clients to reschedule if they are experiencing any illness or elevated fever, or live in a household with someone exhibiting symptoms.

  • Clients and coaches are not permitted to sit in common areas in the studio to gather.

  • Clients must wait in their car until you call or text them to come into the studio after your previous client has left, and you have disinfected your space/equipment. Clients may not be allowed to wait inside the studio for their appointment.

  • Encourage clients to leave 6 feet of space between themselves and others when entering/leaving and during training.

  • Shared equipment, machines, weights should be minimized to the greatest extent possible.

  • Keep a social distance (6 feet of space) between yourself and other coaches at all times.

  • No person to person contact, i.e. hugging, handshakes, etc. beyond what is required to provide queuing during training.

  • Everyone will be encouraged to contribute to a healthy studio by participating in cleaning high touch areas frequently.
