Online programs can be great, and a gym membership can be useful, but only if you work the right program to suit your current conditioning and goals and if you actually have the self-motivation to see those goals through. Having a coach can not only hold you accountable to your goals but can accelerate your results by customizing a program to you.

During each session our coaches teach you proper form, educate on the why's behind the programming and movements, and provide support and encouragement along your health and fitness journey.

What makes ASAP different:

  • Our training sessions run a full 60 minutes

  • No over-crowded environment

  • Focused, individual attention

  • Our community of welcoming coaches and clients

  • Our required on-going education for all coaches and trainees

Personal training for golden-agers

Regardless of age, regular exercise can help us all. Consistent training helps improve strength, balance, stability, agility, confidence, and energy levels— all things essential to keep a body and mind as ageless as possible.

We don’t train our long-lived clients like they are 30 or 40, but we don’t treat them like they are feeble either. We provided safe, effective, practical coaching that serves our client’s goals while paying attention to their fears and concerns.

Like all of our clients, we will walk through an assessment consisting of health history, training history, abilities, and limitations, so that we can design programming that will challenge and benefit each effectively.

You are never too old to start feeling better.

YOUTH training

This program focuses on the development of gross motor skills and movement patterns in children ages 8 through adolescence. Emphasis is on multilateral movement development by teaching a wide variety of skills to reinforce the athlete’s skill development positively.

Training consists of general strength exercises with an emphasis on body weight resistance training, band resistance training, conditioning, speed and agility development, flexibility, coordination, balance, and gross motor skills. Our coaches at ASAP Fitness acknowledge the responsibility of the positive influence we have on the young people we train.

At ASAP Fitness, our goals are to educate and develop a work ethic, enhance self-confidence and self-esteem and leadership skills. Every young person will be able to apply these functional skills to their sport of choice or to develop a healthier foundation for life.

resistance flexibility strength training (rfst)

Bob Cooley discovered while attempting to rehabilitate himself from a tragic pedestrian automobile accident, that a total reshaping of his body, personality ways of being, and perspective occurred through a totally new scientific discovery he made about flexibility. His groundbreaking flexibility discovery: the necessity to contract and resist while stretching produces immediate, cumulative, and permanent increases in flexibility and strength. This 'resistance stretching' eliminates traumatized accumulated dense fascia surrounding the muscle. Removing this fascia results in totally reshaping posture, immediate performance upgrades, and significant improvements in physiological health.

RFST is a system of flexibility exercises including 8 lower and 8 upper body kinematic and kinetic patterns — 16 types of RFST exercises. This system is based on the concept of balancing muscle groups. Both Resistance Flexibility Training (RFT) and Resistance Strength Training (RST) exercises are performed in RFST. RFST is a completely customizable program, original in design, and backed by extensive past and current research. (copy credit: https://www.thegeniusofflexibility.com)

melt method one-on-ones

The MELT Method® (MELT®) is a simple self-treatment technique that is designed to reduce chronic pain and help you stay healthy, youthful, and active for a lifetime. Just 10 minutes of MELT three times a week is all you need to begin to eliminate the effects of accumulated tension and stress caused by daily living. The latest science backs this revolutionary approach and acclaimed by hundreds of thousands of devoted MELTers around the world!

New research has revealed the missing link to pain-free living: a balanced nervous system and healthy connective tissue. These two components work together to keep your body functioning well and feeling good.

Using specialized techniques, a soft body roller, and four different small balls, MELT rehydrates the connective tissue, rebalances the nervous system, and restores space to compressed joints. (copy credit: https://www.meltmethod.com)

functional range programming/coaching

Functional Range Conditioning, or FRC®, is a trademarked system of mobility and joint control training, which, unlike many current systems, is based in scientific principals and research.

Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) utilizes the latest advancements in scientific knowledge, combined with tried and tested training methods to increase ones active, useable ranges of motion by simultaneously improving articular mobility, strength/resilience, and neurological control.

In essence, this invaluable, and innovative training system improves the ability to control, and move ones own body.

FRC® works by systematically expanding the body’s ranges of motion, while simultaneously teaching the nervous system how to control the newly acquired ranges.

As our ability to generate force across the joint lessens, we lose the ability to actively control the range of motion. Thus these long, and short ranges are only accessible to us via passive means and are therefore essentially useless from a movement, functional perspective.  Further, because the longer and shorter ranges are not utilized, the joints tissues never develop the ability to absorb loads at those ranges leaving them susceptible to injury.

Thus through specific, and safe training methods we are able to ‘capture’ passive ranges of motion and convert them into usable, active ranges.  In addition, during the development of improved mobility, the system ensures the simultaneous development of tissue strength and resilience in the newly acquired ranges.
